Errol began his career in the Royal Navy in 1998 as an Air Engineering Apprentice, building a strong foundation in engineering and leadership. Over the years, he has worked with both civilian and military industry partners on diverse projects, including ship inspections, engineering training, assurance auditing, project management, and STEM outreach events. His extensive experience includes working closely with the Merlin aircraft, supporting operations at 846 Squadron and contributing to its development with the Merlin Delivery Team. Recently, he undertook a rewarding role as a Maritime Security Advisor with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in Saudi Arabia, broadening his global expertise. In addition to his engineering career, Errol has a longstanding passion for winter sports. Having learned to snowboard at the RN Ski Championships in 2002, he now serves as the Royal Navy Snowboard Discipline Manager and Chief Snowboard Instructor for the RN Snowsports Festival. This year, Errol is taking over as UKAFWSA Media Director, marking his first time attending the ISSSC, a challenge and opportunity he eagerly anticipates. Errol also dedicates his time to the Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team (AFPST) as a volunteer coach, working closely with the charity to provide on-snow opportunities for serving and veteran members.
